I'm taking time out for nature!

Whether it's 60 seconds, 60 minutes or beyond the hour, we can all take time for nature this Earth Hour.

I am taking time out for nature and have joined the worlds biggest movement to protect our planet. By moving my body and raising vital funds from my Earth Hour Challenge 60, I will be helping to protect and regenerate nature - restoring the planet for everything that calls it home.

Planet doesn’t belong to us!

Monday 19th Jan

Long before cities, fences, borders, and lights that never sleep, the Earth was shared—freely—between plants, animals, oceans, skies, and humans moving gently through it all.

Somewhere along the way, we forgot how to be good neighbours.

We’ve taken more space than we need.

We’ve made more noise than we should.

We’ve built, consumed, and extracted as though the natural world were endless; as though wildlife could simply adapt to every decision we make.

The truth is uncomfortable, but necessary to acknowledge: we haven’t always treated the Earth, or its creatures, with the respect they deserve.

Accountability is the first step toward change.

That’s why I’m participating in the Earth Hour Challenge with WWF.

By taking part, I’m choosing to stand with wildlife that have no voice in our systems, choosing to pause long enough to remember our actions ripple outward into oceans, forests, soil, and the lives that depend on them. It is a a step back from convenience and reconnect with responsibility.

Sharing this planet means to live with nature, not above it.

It means listening. Adjusting. Giving back space where we’ve taken too much.

I don’t claim perfection—only participation.

And I believe that when enough of us choose to care, even in small ways, the future can shift.

For the animals.

For the ecosystems.

For the generations who will inherit what we leave behind.🌱
