Day 27- queenstown hill

Friday 27th Mar
second last day!! this month has gone by very, very quick, but im glad to send it off in queenstown, which is much more beautiful than the photo i chose to make the cover image

Day 26- Wanaka tree

Friday 27th Mar
My first NZ walk! Weather was not kind enough to allow for a proper hike but a gander around the lake to see the Wanaka tree was super chill and pretty

Day 25- morning walks ft. This guy

Wednesday 25th Mar
“i would never forget to press stop on my tracker again”, I said one day before forgetting to press stop on my tracker again. Met this guy on my walk this morning, and he was nice about letting me get close to take some pictures- pretty sure he’s a tawny frogmouth, but after an unnerving face-on view I really did not care to photograph him from that angle to confirm. Hope everyone else has a good morning :))

Thank you WWF!

Tuesday 24th Mar
Sorry for the spam upload- keeping this thing up to date is way harder than a walk. This month has gone by incomprehensibly fast- it’s hard to believe that there’s only 4 days left. I finally walked over to the post office to pick up this cute gift from the WWF :) (they are eastern spotted quolls)

Day 24- sunrise on the eastern dandenong ranges trail

Day 18- morning walk

Wednesday 18th Mar
does 3.30 am count as morning? got my hour in early as possible today with a surprisingly nice forest walk in the dark- the stars were so beautiful and clear.

Day 17- huge thank you on day 17!

Tuesday 17th Mar
these operate mainly as a board for me to ramble on but im sorry to have missed my incoherent sentences of the last two days! ive been rewalking the same trails and its pretty samey stuff but im going to get some better walks in soon, i promise, and those will get an actual update!! for now i just wanted to say im getting my hours in and i feel so incredibly happy to have reached my goals of $250 raised- it all goes towards endangered species and rehabilitating our natural habitats, and im so grateful to have support from people even when times are so hard. thank you ♥️🌏

Day 14- st kilda

Saturday 14th Mar
back to where i started for the halfway point! point ormond looks a little nicer today. there was a woman sitting there working on her embroidery in the sun, which is about the coolest thing i could think of.

Day 13

Friday 13th Mar
today’s walk is a LIE because i am a LIAR todays walk was completed inside with 40 minutes of treadmill and 20 minutes of stairmaster at the gym- the hardest part of this challenge is finding the time to get the hour in and i couldn’t fit a walk outside into my schedule for today. ive got some plans ahead for walks way over 60 minutes so i plan on making it up for today’s turn indoors

Day 12- royal botanical gardens to MCG

Thursday 12th Mar
fun tip how to get your steps up- walk the 100 kilometres up to level 4 of the mcg

Day eleven- walk around the block

Wednesday 11th Mar
got today’s hour in before work

Day 10- hill walk

Tuesday 10th Mar
you really can’t tell from this view how much effort it took to get up there

Day 9- sunset in cockatoo

Monday 9th Mar
on today’s episode of doing the same thing every day i somehow did it wrong again (shout out to me for not being capable of using the walking tracker correctly it was an hour i did not press stop)

Day 8- emerald to gembrook

Sunday 8th Mar
easygoing walk from emerald to gembrook for day 8 :))

Day 7- CBD to Brunswick

Saturday 7th Mar
changing it up with a walk in the city today- gonna blame that for slowing me down

Day 6- emerald lake

Friday 6th Mar
this is who greets me every time i come home from a walk

Day 5- wrights forest
