A Reset for the Soul

Today’s 60 minutes outside felt like a reset for the soul.

Nature has this quiet way of helping us slow down and reconnect — something many of us need more than ever in our busy lives.

This challenge is a reminder that when we care for nature, we’re also caring for ourselves and future generations.

Thank you to everyone supporting this journey 💚

Why Conservation Matters

The more time I spend outside during this challenge, the more I’m reminded that nature isn’t just something we visit — it’s something we depend on.

Healthy ecosystems protect wildlife, support communities, regulate our climate, and sustain life on Earth.

That’s why the work being supported through this fundraiser is so important.

Thank you to everyone helping make a difference through your support.

Day 16 of Challenge 60 🌱 A Moment to Notice

Monday 16th Mar
Today I spent my time outside simply noticing things I would normally walk straight past — birds, trees swaying in the wind, the quiet rhythm of nature doing its thing.

These small moments remind me why this fundraiser matters. The natural world is incredibly beautiful, but it also needs our care , love and protection.

Every donation, share, and message of support helps make that possible.

Today’s time outside felt extra meaningful. Knowing each step supports conservation makes the challenge feel even more purposeful.

When we spend time in nature, we remember that this planet gives us everything we need — air, water, food, beauty, and balance.

Blog Post 1 — My Why:

Thursday 12th Mar
Why Challenge 60 Matters to Me🌏 Why I’m Doing Challenge 60 (And Why It Matters So Deeply to Me) I didn’t sign up for Challenge 60 just to tick a box or complete a fitness goal. I signed up because this challenge speaks directly to my heart. Spending time in nature has always been where I reset, breathe deeper, and remember what truly matters. When life feels loud or overwhelming, nature has a way of gently bringing me back to myself — and to perspective. It reminds me that we are part of something much bigger than our day-to-day worries. As a parent, this connection feels even more important. I think about the world our children are inheriting — the wildlife they’ll grow up knowing, the air they’ll breathe, the oceans and forests they’ll depend on. I want them to experience the same wonder, safety, and beauty in nature that so many of us were lucky to grow up with. That’s why I chose to support WWF for Nature through Earth Hour. Challenge 60 is a reminder that protecting our planet doesn’t start with massive, overwhelming actions — it starts with connection. With showing up. With choosing to care. By committing 60 minutes in nature every day, I’m slowing down enough to truly notice what we’re protecting — and inviting others to do the same. Every donation raised helps fund real conservation work that protects wildlife, restores ecosystems, and supports a healthier future for generations to come. This challenge is deeply personal to me. It’s about values, responsibility, and hope. And I’m so grateful to anyone who’s chosen to support me, share my page, or simply cheer me on. Thank you for being part of something bigger than all of us. 💚🌏 #EarthHourAustralia #WWF-Australia #challenge60 #EarthHour

Sometimes all it takes is stepping outside to remember what truly matters.

Every day of this challenge reinforces why protecting our planet is so important. These landscapes, wildlife, and ecosystems are part of our shared home.

Day 9 of Challenge 60 🌏— Finding Joy in Simple Things

Today reminded me how much joy lives in simple moments outdoors — fresh air, movement, sunshine, and space to think.

It’s easy to forget how connected we are to nature when life gets busy. But the truth is, the health of our planet is deeply connected to our own wellbeing.

That’s why I’m so grateful to be part of this challenge supporting WWF through Earth Hour.

Monday 2nd Mar

Day 1 starts now! 🎉🌏

Monday 2nd Mar
Today I’m kicking off Challenge 60 with World Wide Fund for Nature as part of Earth Hour — and I’d love your support!

From March 1–28, I’m committing 60 minutes in nature, every day to help raise funds to protect and regenerate our planet. 🌿

I’ll be mixing it up with walking, cycling, stretching, swimming, and exploring our local patch — and sharing daily updates in my stories, posts, and on my fundraiser page.

Why? Because every minute in nature reminds us what we’re protecting. And every dollar raised helps fund vital conservation work for our wildlife, climate, and future generations.
