Whether it's 60 seconds, 60 minutes or beyond the hour, we can all take time for nature this Earth Hour.
I am taking time out for nature and have joined the worlds biggest movement to protect our planet. By moving my body and raising vital funds from my Earth Hour Challenge 60, I will be helping to protect and regenerate nature - restoring the planet for everything that calls it home.

Swimming for the sea
Tuesday 24th FebI've pledged to swim in the ocean for 60 minutes every day in March. My inspiration? Every day I read about human-driven environmental disasters. The rate of extinction, mass-clearing of native bush land for the sake of development, a catastrophic algal bloom in South Australia...
I spend so much time in nature that I see it happening as well. Bush dying from drought, endangered possums squashed in the road, marine species deserting areas they've occupied for ever.
I feel helpless.
This is a thing I can do with skills and time I have to raise money and create awareness in my individual sphere of influence.
Because I like a little extra challenge, I also plan to swim a minimum of 2.4km each session. By the end of the month this will equal 68km - or the distance from England to France and back.
