We are shining a spotlight on nature loss this Earth Hour Schools Day! We will be encouraging students to Wear it Wild for a gold coin donation on Friday March 27 and help our school raise critical funds for wildlife conservation in Australia and around the world!

Caring for nature

At North Ryde Community Preschool we are all obsessed with nature and animals! The children are committed to caring for all animals and helping to look after and protect them. We are grateful to have a beautiful outdoor environment where children can learn about plants and nature every day! Most children have a strong interest in animals and we love incorporating them into our daily preschool life through dramatic play experiences such as Vet and Zoo set ups. We love to learn about the animals in our preschool environment, like blue tongue lizards, brush turkeys, spiders, bees, chickens and Guinea pigs.  We can’t wait to dress up for Wear it Wild day!
